Since the patch, my dps is lower, and my Arcane Blasts feel weaker, however free Arcane Missles on Missle Barrage proc was nice, and can proc back to back even off Arcane Missles. Wasn't A.Blast supposed to be lowered to 135% cost? 175% still chews up mana on 4th tick.
It was originally 135% but they found that it was too sustainable at that level so they went about halfway up to 175%. If you are having mana issues you can break back to ABx3-AM

If your DPS is lower after the patch, you're doing something wrong. My dps jumped up about 300-500. As Anobix said, the ideal rotation is AB x 4, then a MB (which from what I saw yesterday, is procing at least once during each cycle).

Yeah I don't see how it would be possible to lose DPS this patch for a mage. I mean every change they got was a buff. Mana reduction on missile barrage, letting arcane barrage stack up to 4 and reducing the mana cost, and increased proc chance on missile barrage. The 4 stack might almost be considered neutral if you are still using ABX3 AM, but no clue why you would do that and even if you did it still reduces mana cost.

I was on the target dummy earlier trying out the new rotation of 4xAB, AM. My impressions so far are the MB procs are very nice and I did see an increase in dps.
My only reservation, there still seems to be some RNG on the MB procs. Several times I went through 2 whole cycles and didnt get a MB proc, once on 3 cycles it didnt proc. Other times, it just wouldnt stop proc'cing on every cast lol.....

Before update I had times going like, 5 cycles without one. Now? 1 tops. Amazing update.
