Druid
Balance

* Moonkin Form: This form now also reduces the damage the druid takes while stunned by 15%.
* Typhoon: The daze duration has been increased from 3 seconds to 6 seconds.

Feral Combat

* Infected Wounds: The debuff generated by this talent no longer stacks and instead causes the full effect with a single application.
* Predatory Strikes: This talent now also causes the druid’s finishing moves to provide a 7/13/20% chance per combo point to make the next Nature spell with a cast time below 10 seconds instant cast.

Predatory strikes...

Ohai art of war/enh shammy thing etc.

Question: Does anyone here think there is enough time in the feral druid rotation to take 3 GCD's to cast something? (1 to switch out, 1 to cast, 1 to switch back in)

Actually, I'm tired, I can't remember if it takes a GCD to switch out...

The rest of them aren't that interesting from my point of view: I don't balance pvp and the infected wounds change is just meh.

No resto love. Or hate either, so perhaps I should be thankful.

Pretty sure the PS change is for ferals to be better at pvp, gives instant big heals and such.

Infected Wounds change is nice because if you're the only tank applying Tclap debuff having to wait for *two* Mauls to get the full stack (and 2 more if you ever lose the debuff) puts Druids at a disadvantage. Same implications in pvp too.

Loving this :D

Another patch passes with no changes, means nothing new to remember! Which is great as my brain is full enough anyway. :p

Yay! This will make the tanking thing a little simpler, I was bummed when I lost it and had to re-stack.

I just started a doing 3s last night.

Can't wait to do more with new Malestrom Art of Predatory Strikes.

Also no tanking nerfs is making me happy.

man, i know a few high rated ferals who are giggling like schoolgirls right now.

i swear to god the only battlegroup that seems to have skilled ferals in arena is mine, because even though im a druid, these buffs make me sick.

*giggle*

Only problem now is that I'm torn between Resto healing, Moonkin DPS and Feral tanking.

WTB triple-spec, kthx.

That! I am trying to solve that problem once and for all by leveling a second druid. Adding another spec won't help with the bag mess I am sick and tired of dealing with. Right now I am carrying tree and cat PvP sets. I am also carrying my bear set, cat set, tree set, and various pieces to optimize each one of them (regen, haste, hit, or whatever) as needed. Of course there is moonkin gear in the bank...

It has gotten to the point where I cant do a set of tournament dailies anymore without stopping at the vendor to sell some junk in between.

I love my druid(s) for the unique ability to fill absolutely every role, but while I can handle more than the 2 specs granted by Bliz with the Talented addon, the bag design just doesnt support that kind of flexibility.

If it was Valentine's now instead of Brewfest I couldn't do a thing. No room for the token insanity.

Wasn't there being talked about making "morphing" gear for hybrids? You know, where an item has Feral stats when you're Feral spec'd and the morphs to Restoration stats if you go to your Resto spec and such?

Or was just me having wet dreams?

I don't think anything like that would ever be implemented. The hunt for gear is what makes the majority of people pay their monthly subscription fees and with that is just too valuable for Blizzard. If anything like that would be in their interest, you'd already be allowed to exchange your tiered gear or PvP stuff as you please.

In fact, people would be screaming for new content that much sooner rather than just being busy gathering 2 more sets...

It doesn't use a GCD to switch out.

Haven't paid attention for a while, but what happened to the extended Typhoon range? Did that get put in earlier or did that get replaced by the daze increase?

If I remember correctly, Typhoon range was updated in Patch 3.2 or so.

Also, the change to Predatory Strikes was definitely a PvP buff. Considering Rebirth is a 2-second cast, this change probably won't affect PvE all that much. Personally, I would've liked a fix to the horribly complex Feral rotation/priority list that is going on right now, but considering this buff was added to an already needed Feral talent, I'll take what I can get.

Druid Tier-8 Healer 4-Piece Set Bonus: The amount of healing this set bonus grants on the initial cast of Rejuvenation has been reduced by 50%.

There was some kind of hate for resto.
Other than that not much wow about it

Does anyone know if the healing done by the 4pc bonus was before or after spell bonus? You know, like Swiftmend currently works where it uses the base healing of Rejuv/Regrowth and then has its own coefficient. Because according to DrDmg, my Rejuvenation heals for a total of 11k health, but Swiftmend rarely even crits for that much on Rejuved targets. So I'm assuming it's using the base 2200ish healing and working its own coefficient on it.

Sounds crazy if the 4pc bonus would instantly heal someone for 100% of a Rejuvenation. I mean, with no cast time, no cooldown and a very short global cooldown, it would blow Nourish right out of the water if the bonus made Rejuvenation heal for double with one half being an instant heal. Imagine an instant cast Regrowth on steroids.

I was under the impression it was just a free extra rejuv tick immediately, then the regular rejuv tivks started as usual 3 secs later.

Ah, like that... yes, that would make more sense.

They really should have someone sit down and have a chat with whoever writes those tooltips.
