I read that rogues survive based on the fact that they have no healing and want to kill before they are killed, since warriors have no healing, is the same true for them?
That's a generalization.
Kill it before it kills you and/or avoid and mitigate as much damage as possible.
Rogues do all that except the mitigation. And their damage output is a bit higher.
