Getting My Gear.Follow

#1 Sep 12 2009 at 6:04 PM Rating: Decent
Hi everyone.
Now, I'm trying to get better gear, I've already gotten all the normal ToC rogue gear, where should I go next? What dungeon/raid should I go to other than heroics?
I do about 1750-1950 DPS depending on the buffs I get.
I also need to change my MH, it's a blue slow questy mace and I've had it for such a long time, what's available for me to get with the DPS I'm doing?
One more thing, what's the first, best thing to get with Conquest Emblems that I get from HCs?

I'd really appreciate it if anyone helped me, thanks a lot in advance. :)

EDIT: How much DPS should I be doing to be able to get into VoA or Naxx or even ToC HC?
Oh and one more thing, and sorry for being really nooby. How many versions of Naxx/VoA are there? Like, there Naxx10 and Naxx25... It's all just really confusing to me, and I would really really appreciate if someone took the time to explain a bit for me.

For all raids Pre- Trial of the Crusader (NOT the 5 man, trial of the champion) there are 10 and 25 man versions. The 25 man versions are generally regarded as proportionally harder, and drop higher tier loot.

For Trial of the Crusader, there's 10 and 25 versions- but think of it like a heroic, there's normal and heroic versions of each.

Conquest Emblems, you should pick up the leather gear that is the largest upgrade for you. You can find out about what gear is the largest upgrade for you by using the spreadsheet in the link below.

Never go maces. I know you're trying to replace it... but never go maces.

This far into WotLK, if you can convince people that you're intelligent and that you've read up about fights in Naxx and other raids (do it!) then you should probably be able to get into the group. You might want to try forming your own group as well.

This is a thread I made that should prove to be a gold mine for you.

Several suggestions that might help you find this answer on your own.

1. A list of maces

2. Try downloading atlasloot from curse, it's an addon that shows items/drops/craftables. You can search through the heroic boss loot list and see what you need to run.

3. Best thing w/ conquest is whatever you determine you need. Look at your gear, see whats weak, and replace it. This is apparently not common sense?

4. Even though it's a 'competitor' to Zam, try www.wowwiki.com for information on Uld and the new trial (there's a link at the top of the page). It'll have history and all the goods (read=loot) off the different versions of the new raids, as well as easy to read strats, so you aren't going in blind.

5. DPS - 2k is fine to start. For VoA, if your server is like mine, the pugs will have plenty of DPS to carry you through, most people don't even glance at the meters in VoA unless people are dying. Knowing your role and not dying w/ 2k dps is better than a dead 4k dps.

6. Stay out the fire. :)

Two people just answered your question... The easiest raid is OS 10. Naxx 10 is a close second.
