(Up the bear backside)
So me and my OH decided that we would level druids together as static characters a while. I've always wanted to level a druid but could never get past level 22. I think I made and deleted about 6 druids before this one. Still, we got to level 16 and it was dragging.
Then good ol' patch 3.2 came out and I told my OH the idea of leveling our druids as a Black and White cat pair. (Looks awesome btw) and slowly, whenever we both have time we got to 33 just dinged a couple of hours ago. I'm getting into it a lot more now though the 30's are dragging I've read up on how it gets better and better over time but the OH can't see it. He says that druid cat isn't bright enough like Paladin and Deathknight and likes seeing a big fanfare when he hits a special attack and that it's killing things too slow even with 2 of us.
I really want to level these two up. Since I got to level 70 at tbc and saw trees, I wanted to heal as resto but never had the heart to level a druid. Now I have my OH with me it feels so much easier but it's becoming a chore for him.
How do I reassure him that it does get better?
Are the 30's just a bad level range? Imp LotP seems to be a great leveling tool 40 onwards.
Does bear rage generation increase or is it always rage starved? (He's a tank at heart)
Any tips or tricks to make leveling druid more exciting for his man brain?
What specs are best to level together? At the moment, he's speccing more towards bear for when aggro control is needed while I'm specced into popping out of cat and healing. Both feral. Might be better to just go down the normal dps talent route?
I guess I'm clinging onto hope that I can get him back into druid so that I don't have to go it alone.
It's scary alone...
