Hi
I am pretty usless when it comes to figuring out values and the like, i will be lvl 80 feral cat prob by tonight and want to use Rhadatip comparision addon but have looked everywhere on web i can think looking for the scaling values that i require to enter, some advice on where to find or how to work it out would be much appreciated thanks in advance. There is a preset scales for the addon but it does not explain which one to use.

Live it, love it.

This is a great addon for figuring out gear.

Obviously it'll all change again in the next patch, but it seems like Rawr hasn't been valuing ArP high enough since it was changed.

No matter how much you have, it seems to always rank it under agility.

No, Rawr is perfectly fine stats-wise, it'll prioritize ArPen gemming when it becomes better. The problem comes from the fact that it is not a user-friendly program and many people don't know about the gemming templates.

Whenever you get a new version, you have to load your Cat profile (or from Armory if you logged in cat spec and gear) and then proceed to Tools -> Edit Gemming Templates.

By default (in the most recent versions) it'll give you 2 sets of epic gems, both using Agility in red slots and one being straight Agility. What you need to do is check the Custom box, click Add, and then create gemming template(s) using ArPen gems. You can also increase the number of gemmings shown in that little box at the bottom.

You need to do that every new version of Rawr unless you can figure out which file you need to keep when you get a fresh version. :P

And if you're already doing it and it's not working, I dunno what to say. Since I discovered that I always got ArPen suggestions even though I'm actually below 200 passive rating. But since my main spec is Bear and I share some pieces I just go with Agility now.

...weird... I know I have ArP gems enabled, because it shows me each piece of gear with both agi gems and ArP gems in the lists.

No matter what I played around with, I couldn't ever seem to find a situation where the agi gemmed pieces weren't ranked higher than the ArP gemmed pieces... I'll try playing around with it some more later, I guess...

The latest version of RAWR is set up for the next patch with the ArPen nerf (about a 12% reduction) which pushes the threshold at which RAWR will gem ArPen over Agi from about 400 up to 650 or so (based on the rest of your stats of course). If you want to gear for now, then you need to stick to the 2.2.14 version.

I'm good till the nerf, 612 ArP atm :P I'm sure I'll be able to pad that with some 232/245 gear in the near future to stay at the cap after the nerf. The best part is I'm still over 1400 Agility.

Using the latest version, 546 ArP, and it's rating agility as 1.1 and ArP as 0.85 (below agility, strength, and crit).

Something's clearly not right, but I don't know what it is.

Edit: Not just me either. Loading Galenmoon gives me agility as 1.40, strength as 1.37, and ArP as 1.33...

As I posted above, the new version of RAWR (2.2.15), follows the PTR ArPen nerf, so the figures you give seem reasonable. You need 650+ ArPen (+Grim Toll or Mjolnir Runestone) before ArPen will beat Agi. Without one of those trinkets, you would need up over 1000 ArPen before going with ArPen gems.

RhadaTip 2.1.5b comes with a lot of pre-stores scales that you can use.
To give you an example:
Druid_T8_58_00_13 Int=0.68 Spi=0.61 SP=1.58 Hit=3.32 Crit=1.23 Haste=1.35 Lag=0.00

In the pre-set scales tab, that you can either access from /rt menu or directly with /rt pv, you will find a big red button called Druid_T8_58_00_13.
If you click that button, the scales above will be automatically set into the scaling value panel, /rt sv.
The buttons should be easy to interpret, T8 is the gear level (if you are decked in T8 or not), and 58-0-13 is the spec.

I do have 1 question in regards to the rhadatip addon concerning druids. What do the letters M, SF and W refer to in the Saved Scaling Values Templates, and should we be using them while we are leveling ? Or better yet which template should we be using while leveling ? I understand Druid_T8_58_00_13, but I am just unsure about the notations at the end. Any help on this matter would be appreciated.

Don't know the addon at all but it looks like they may stand for Moonfire, Starfire & Wrath.
