looking at it from an 80 stand point, what is the best combination of poisons to use on a general raid/heroic boss that doesnt require AP, i've read several different combinations, mainly beeing IP/WP, IP/DP, WP/DP, just want to see what everyone else thinks

Depends on spec, mut pretty much always uses IP/DP, but combat can do WP/WP or WP/DP just depends on the fight. Anything that requires a lot of movement where your DP stack will drop more than once in a fight you're generally better off with double wound. Any fight where adds die too fast for DP to stack or there are multiple waves double wound should do better as well. Also if you're near hitcap(which you shouldn't be as its like 600+ hit rating) double wound will outdps WP/DP even in cases where DP never drops.

Only needed if you're going for your white damage hit cap

Scrolling down a bit to the hit rating section:

The following values assume that you have 5/5 Precision and that you are attacking a level 83 mob (i.e., boss level).

~ 99 (Specials) -- 315 (Poisons) -- 722 (White) : No buffs/debuffs
~ 99 (Specials) -- 237 (Poisons) -- 722 (White) : Imp FF or Misery
~ 66 (Specials) -- 210 (Poisons) -- 689 (White) : Imp FF or Misery & Heroic Presence (Draenei)

The following values assume that you have 2/5 Precision and that you are attacking a level 83 mob (i.e., boss level).

~ 197 (Specials) -- 393 (Poisons) -- 820 (White) : No buffs/debuffs
~ 197 (Specials) -- 315 (Poisons) -- 820 (White) : Imp FF or Misery
~ 164 (Specials) -- 289 (Poisons) -- 787 (White) : Imp FF or Misery & Heroic Presence (Draenei)

For PVP, assuming no Precision:

~ 164 (Specials) -- 105 (Poisons) -- 787 (White)

Also, this will be your best friend. Look at it first before asking another question.
