1. I need tips if it is possable to solo elites the same lvl as me and maybe a little higher, like what skills and talents i should go low lvl as well as endgame.
You CAN solo some elites. Normal elites are really not a problem. However, anything above a 2-man quest elite will be tricky. Gear helps the most, spec second. Always have all your big cooldowns ready (Evasion, potion, Kidney Shot, Premeditate if Sub). Combat is the best build for early leveling, and 21 points in Subtlety arguably the best for soloing elites as well due to premeditation. Mutilate becomes a beast of a spec with good daggers in your late 50s. Subtlety is pretty much usually considered the worst leveling spec. Best advice for group quests is get a group.
Alliance or Horde? Pick whichever you want. I like Shadowmeld as a second (but less effective) get-out-of-combat skill like vanish. BEs have a nifty silence. I'd pick based on looks, not racials, though.

3. lastly, are people willing to invite you in to groups, raid, etc. or are rogues like hunters back in the day when we all shun them...
and in your guys thoughts what are the postives and negatives of a rogue, thanks or the help!
Rogue is only as good as the player. They can put out some beastly DPS in end-game raids, and are a blast to play in PvP (so I find). Not sure how they do in arenas. Positives? You do great DPS and get to stab things. Negatives? Lots of classes do good DPS, and rogues are squishier than some other DPS specs.
