taming a swoopFollow

Hmm...never leveled a Tauren hunter that far, is it possible you're going after a higher level than the one you need to tame?

If luck's not doing it for you, take the zeppelin to durotar and pick up the quest for makrura eyes and crawler mucus in sen'jin village, it will get you a nice snare you can use to keep the swoop away while you tame it.

I know they can kick pretty hard and interrupt taming so try to tame the swoop which i think are on the north side of Bloodhoof village only and if possible whatever one is the lowest level , stand as far away as possible and i found if you get knocked over get up and try again as fast as possible as they seem to only interrupt you once per fight , it may help if a priest gives you a stamina buff and the idea of that sticky glue quest Lady isyris said about may give you those few extra seconds you need , but i did it easily enough first time and i guess there would be lots of complaints here if it was as bad as it seems although i cannot remember any threads about it , so as has been said keep trying and you will get it in the end.
