Break tier7.5 bonus for 1 piece tier9?Follow

basically i am wearing 3/5 t8.5, and 2/5 t7.5

I am trying to see if it is reasonable to say that the set(2) bonus of the t7 set is not really that great,

in a fairly long boss fight i did 2,060,000 damage ..of this ~170k was rupture

what was that before the 10% increase? 170/1.1 = 154k
so in this boss fight it was 16k more damage

or 16k/2060k = 0.7% of total damage.

should this item be replaced with something like this? http://www.wowhead.com/?item=48221 (tier9 shoulders)
