why devoring plague is your new best friendFollow

Has no one commented before on the fact that there is no cooldown on this spell anymore? Now we have an instant cast spell that heals you for 15% last a long time and does instant damage when if first hits. Before if I was running away I could only do holy nova. Now if your health is ok you can just keep blasting this, each time you hit you do the instant damage equal to 15% of its total damage, which is alot more damage to one person versus holy nova. Also in pvp crowds I would do mind sear or the tabbing and shadow pain and tab to the next, now I can do both shadow pain, devoring plague quickly and tab to the next target and set up multible targets with devoring plague,sp and have multiple targets feeding me healing.

i thought the tool tip states that devoring plague can only effect one target at a time

i find it to be a bit costly in mana while i have been leveling in my 30's and 40's so i dont use it all that much while grinding, it doesnt seem to add that much into my attack rotation in my experience on my young priest.

It is nice that the cd is removed, but it still can only be on one target at a time. If you are tab-dotting, as soon as you put it on a second target, it is removed off the first. Still, a nice improvement that let's you get it up again fast in case a mob drops or pvp dispells.

Aw, hell...I just realized this probably means it doesn't work with Death Knights using contagion any more.

Pestilence, you meant. But no worries, Pestilence got changed some time ago anyway - it only spreads the DK's own diseases now.
