Intellect vs Agility DPS (Careful Aim)Follow

I have all 3 talents in Careful Aim (which means now 1 Intellect = 1 Ranged Attack). To maximize my DPS, should I focus more on Intellect for the RA or Agility for the +critical? My Hunter is currently 27, but if the answer is different by level, when should I change what I'm doing?

Edit: I know I need to update my sig, but I'm too busy playing WoW... ;)

Int = AP and Mana.
Agi = AP and Crit.

Mana is pretty much a non-issue once you have Aspect of the Viper, Crit is always useful.

Thanks a lot for the replies, I didn't realize that AGI gave AP so I guess in terms of DPS the choice is fairly easy.

Also, I must add that I feel very welcome in the WoW community when I ask a simple question in what I felt was a polite and respectful way in the correct forum and I quickly get sub-defaulted. Thanks guys!

You should be glad that we actually took the time to answer your question, rather than just telling you to read the FAQ thread stickied at the top of this forum.

Quote:

What are the most important attributes for hunters?

Agility (which adds attack power and chance to crit) is number one. No questions asked. That doesn't mean you should switch items because one has a single point of agility more if you are sacrificing other stats, though.

The FAQ is there for a reason--it answers most of the questions that get asked on this forum, and many posters have put a lot of time into keeping it up to date and accurate. If you want to create a thread to discuss a topic in more depth, especially one that is *not* covered in any of the forum stickies, most folks will be happy to join you. New threads asking simple questions that can be answered in five minutes of reading the information already available are generally frowned upon.

Also, Yuppley kills a kitten every time someone asks a question that's already been answered in the FAQ.

Yuppley killing kittens has little to do with people asking questions, he kills kittens for fun.

But yeah, there's kind of that nice thread at the top of the forum shouting "ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED HERE." that should be fairly obvious.

Why would someone rate you down?

This board gets weird when I'm not online.
