FOK Nerf Incoming.Follow

Such a shame, I have FOK as my offspec and it was quickly becoming my mainspec for heroics and pretty much anything but raid bosses
Its pulling 3-4k single target dps when cooldowns are up and 2.5 when they arent.

The biggest disapointment is losing the spell intterupt, I was able to get the less-rabi achievement simply with fok + AR + combat potency, was just in a pug group, no one was trying for the achievement but we got it because fok was able to stop every transformation. It also makes a lot of fights much easier for tank and healer when your interrupting several offensive spells, fears etc on many boss fights.
the dps nerf isnt the main thing as poisons do make up for it especially the way they scale with AP now, but I will be sorry to see the interrupts go

Not bad for using a ****** OH. I've been at every single Uld 25, every week, and the dagger off XT has YET to drop. I passed on Daschals for one of our other rogues, and every week, keeping the beserking mats in my bag, hoping for it to drop, I end up disappointed. Now with the 2 week raid lockout our guild is running, I won't have a chance to see it until 2 weeks from wednesday. The fact that I ran H-Nex 25 times for the trink, and H-GD almost that many for the hemo circle ring is testament to my utter lack of luck. Needless to say, I get owned by slot machines in Vegas.

Aside from the pvp nerf you can also look at it this way: Rogues are meant to be the best single target dps in wow, that is their role in the game and to most extent they are. However they have very poor AoE abilties and so blizzard added fan of knives in wrath, which is now argueably the best AoE currently in the game. I suppose they see it that the class can't have things both ways.

Will it really effect you all that much though, I only ever use FoK in 1 or 2 boss fights (Thorim and Yogg Saron + keepers) and who cares about trash dps, lol.

25man Yogg0 is going to be near impossible because of this nerf. It really wasn't used for much in pve outside of that, but it is really going to hurt people working on that encounter.
