First let me say, I love my DK. I loved it from the moment I realized I could solo Ramps at 75. I have also soloed Blood Furnace a few times. I tried to solo Onyxia last night but I couldn't keep up with heals even as a blood DK. My gear just isn't good enough. What are your favorite instances to solo?

Excluding Arc and MGT, anything BC. They're pure money trips. The first time I solo'd Mech (my first attempt at a 70 instance solo), I seriously debated grabbing enchanting.

Onyxia was a little tough for me, I was doing well until the whelps came out. I enlisted the help of a hunter friend and we managed to two man her.

I like doing mechanar and botanica, for old time's sake. The fact they reel in a moderate amount of money plays a small part as well, me thinks Smiley: grin.

I have an enchanter/scribe unholy DPS/frost tanking DK.

What is it about Mechanar and Botanica that brings in the cash? I suppose that disenchanting will be a bonus, but what else?

Also, does anyone know if it's possible to solo heroic TBC instances?

Soloing Heroic pre-WotLK instances is a no go. You want a healer at least. The mobs hit too hard.

You should be able to solo any 5 man instance <70-72, in decent gear. Tank spec is slightly better than a DPS spec. Avoiding damage is paramount, and with the way level differences work, defense skill is very keen.

I'm willing to bet a decently geared blood dk can solo ony. I had very little problems with the whelps when I 2 man it with my paly buddy. The only problem I have is having just enough health pool to stay up while ony is deep breathing.

Kara should be pretty easy as well. 2 man in the bag. Off spec healer (druid/ret pali/shaman) would do very well with a blood dk.

I disagree for heroic dungeon. If your gear are ilvl 219 and up, your weapon has dps of 210 and more and you have a deep blood specs, its tough but doable. You need to keep your cooldown for the right moment.

I solo'd a part of regular nexus for last year's christmas hat. It was fun and challenging.
