* Moonkin Form: This form now also reduces the damage the druid takes while stunned by 15%.
* Typhoon: The knockback distance from this spell has been increased to match Thunderstorm.

I just had an ******! are you kidding me? Ever since Typhoon appeared, we all wanted a longer distance...and now...it matches freakin' THUNDERSTORM!??!

Thank you!!

You forgot the Feral changes.

Quote:
Feral Combat

* Predatory Strikes: This talent now also causes the druid’s finishing moves to provide a 7/13/20% chance per combo point to make the next Nature spell with a cast time below 10 seconds instant cast.

Bleah.

An instant cast heal in PvP is pretty nice. Does roots/cyclone count as nature? I assume so. There is also the possibility of hitting a starfire on a boss when having to run out for a lightning nova or something.

Or for that matter an instant cast battlerez?

the new typhoon is gonna be pretty nutso. make throwing people off the ramparts at IoC or off the LM in AB a lot easier.

the new feral change is pretty beastly too, pun intended. itll also make nurturing instinct a more attractive talent in general, since ferals will now have a means to throw heals effectively.

Starfire is arcane though ;-)

It's an interesting mechanic; someone related it to Maelstrom Weapon for enhancement shamans. However, that's really not correct; this is almost entirely a PvP ability, for the stated reasons. In PvE, besides "OH SH*T!" situations or running out of range, it really has no use; no way you would stop an already extremely tight feral rotation to shoot off an underpowered wrath.

Instant Rebirth in raids would be nice.

Would cause less messing of said rotation.

But ya I mainly see it as my instant CC or heal in PvP.

Will it make you shift out of cat-form though?
#8 Aug 16 2009 at 8:32 PM Rating: Good
Yes, you will still have to shift out, so it will still interrupt a little, but compared to a 2sec cast (which can be knocked back or even interrupted) this will be very nice.

What always kills my DPS when I have to Rebirth is that the person that died is NEVER in range of me. And they can never be bothered to ping the map when the RL calls for a rez for them. Same with Innervate. Missing 8+ seconds of the DPS rotation with the most ramp-up time really screws with things. At least it's not as bad with 4t8 and the extra time on SR.

I have to agree Astarin, the 4pcT8 is crazy. I didn't know if I'd like it compared to the extra time on rip, but my SR feels like it's up FOREVER. I mean, a 1 or 2 point SR is up a LOOOONG time and it gives you so much extra space for boss movement, b-rez, innervate, etc to be able to keep your rotation going.

Forgive me but I just have to LOL at the feral talent change. Oooh, instant nature cast, that's so helpful. I can think of numerous situations in raids where I have the time to break off from my mangle > shred > rake > tiger's fury > savage roar > rip rotation to utilize instant cast nature spells. After all, I'm just sitting there twiddling my thumbs.

Wait a minute, in cat form, and bear form for that matter, I DON'T HAVE ANY THUMBS. Now I'm screwed.

Disclaimer: The above listed rotation is merely a rough approximation of how I apply all my abilities and when.

I often spend 10-15 secs running around trying to get my Rebirth icon to light up saying someone is in range. Usually it is on XT and they've run right out to the left or right and died there - if I pick the wrong direction, it takes ages to find them :(
