Hey there guys. Had a question regarding my talents and also switching a Glyph.

Okay first I've been hearing of alot of pallies that were originally in the 51/2/18 or whatever holy/ret build they use to the 51/20 build. Is that a good way to good now with the patch? I know with my guild it'll be awhile before we see any of the tougher hard mode Ulduar stuff and probably the new ToC Hard stuff.

Final question is in regardes to Beacon Glyph. I currently have the Wisdom seal glyph, Holy light and flash of light. Im thinking of taking out the holy light one. I've seen myself using Flash of light alittle more than Holy. Plus the additional healing I usually get from the Holy Glyph isn't really that major. Is this a good move or should I take away the flash of light?

- With the Illumination nerf gutting the benefit of the 8% crit, I think I'll stay in 51/20 for the near future, especially with the buffs to SS and the forthcoming (for me) 4T8 bonus. If they "fix" Divine Sacrifice to expire even if bubbled, I might reconsider.

- Glyphs. With 3.2 regen, I think Seal of Wisdom is the only fixture due to is OPness (even if you don't melee, it procs off Judgements). Divinity is a flat 3900 mana on demand (or as a side effect of an Oh !#$% tanking moment) - that's 32.5mp5 averaged over a 10 minute fight, but double that for a 5 minute fight. Beacon saves 42mp5 and one GCD a minute. Holy Light gives more raw healing power than Flash, but since it's dumb healing it's going to overheal more than I'd prefer. On the other hand, Flash is a 5% throughput buff (assuming the FLoT, half that without) applied to the spell you use when you don't care about throughput and are trying to throttle your mana during a period of light incoming damage.

So it looks like if regen is your concern, Seal of Wisdom > Beacon = Divinity > HL = FoL. And if throughput is your concern, none of the alternatives help a heck of a lot, so glyph for regen...

I'll probably just stay with what I have (Seal, Divinity, HL). Might swap Beacon for Divinity for tactical purposes - right now it fades at the same time as SS, which is nice because it's only one thing to remember, but it's two consecutive GCD to bring them both back still in sync.

HL is better than Divinity still, depends on if you are having mana issues.

Crit as a mana regen stat has been gutted in 3.2 so the points in Ret are less than they were before. Not terrible, depending on where you are gear wise, but just meh. Also with the beacon/illumination nerf means you will use more FoL and that means the +sp buff of prot is a little more desirable and a little less overhealing. Also as mentioned right now the ability to pretty much mitigate spike damage over the raid by bubble saccing is sexy and is something most hardmode pallies have been doing since May or earlier.

Hey thanks for the input guys.
Ya Mana hasn't really been issue yet. But I haven't tested the new changes that much. I'll checkout both Divinity and Beacon and see where I stand. I totally forgot about there being a Divinity Glyph.

I think I'll go with the 51/20 build. Now that crit isn't as important and at the moment I right around 39% crit and fully buffed Im at 42%. So I guess the 8 I get from ret won't be missed to much.
