LnL Proc rates.Follow

Mid-raid right now (Taking a break, so it's not like I'm afk-autoshotting or anything!) and a couple bosses down. I've noticed (and this is, of course, all anecdotal evidence) that LnL seems to be proccing a LOT more than normal, even with the 30 second internal cooldown. I'm waiting for WWS to be uploaded after the raid so I can comb through it more carefully, and I'll update this post then.

But I was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this, or if it's all just in my head.

I took a look at the WWS, and it seems that LnL does still have a 22 second internal CD, but the proc-rate seems much higher than 6%. I took a gander at the EJ Survival Hunter thread, and the last page (119, currently) has people talking about a possible buff to the LnL chance.

Earlier I did some napkin math and with a 6% chance to proc, I should be getting one proc every 100 seconds or so, give or take. Instead, according to the very bias-able WWS (Afterall, the random number generator is quite random), I'm getting a much higher proc rate than estimated.

Anyways, just thought I'd share.

Edit for grammar

Left side many whelps, even side! Now handle it!

I haven't played SV in awhile so I wouldn't really know. Maybe you just got lucky

After every single patch people will talk about procs happening more or less and saying that they're buffed or nerfed.

If they actually were, you probably would've heard about it during the PTR.

lol

Aethein, I'm a troll, have you not realized it yet?

All I do is troll, and act an ***. If you can find me something that I haven't lied about, I would congratulate you.

I feed off of gullible fucks who can't understand that not everyone in the world is as bland as they think they are inside of their heads.

Sure, I've never trolled here, as I'm helpful and informative to pretty much the utmost of my abilities, but everywhere else I do stuff just to get people angry.

Blizz ruined 2s, and I don't see why I should continue to give them my money for that, so I called a GM the "n" word.

And, bam, I got banned.

I guess my days here are over too, as I shouldn't really talk about WoW when I'm not playing it.

If you were throwing down frost or freezing traps, that could account for the increased number of procs you were seeing--they're unlinked from Black Arrow now, which means you could have Black Arrow up and potentially get L&L off of it, as well as the L&L procs from trapping. You might have just been getting procs quicker after the CD was up.

That's all I can think of, though. Smiley: smile

I did 10 and 25 Northrend Beasts, a couple Uld bosses, and about 3 heroics tonight, and LnL also seemed to be proccing considerably more than pre-patch for me (and that was before I read the EJ surv thread with other people noting it, so that didn't affect my perception). Another guild hunter noted it as well, though I am also waiting on RL to post WWS. Pulled a solid 6k on 25M ToC and 4.5k on 10s. An EJ tester notes a 24% proc rate from 208 ticks on a test dummy.

Though Aethien knows better and mocks your foolish patch superstitions.

Everyone knows that Game Masters make the game-changing decision at Blizzard, inc.

What was I supposed to do?

Phone Blizz and ask to talk to a Dev?
