Hello. I have been playing for about 2 weeks now. Ive leveled all classes besides a priest and a warrior 25+. I can not decide on a class. I always feel jealous of another class. That is why i've decided to go with a paladin or a druid. They can both do it all. The problem is idk which one because they are both fun. I like the idea of being a plate wearing guy but then druids when in bear form are basically wearing plate. Does it get annoying to you guys that all the other classes get a change in looks as they level up? Druids look the same in bear from 10-80 cat 20-80. I just think that may get a little annoying. Please help me decide which one would be best for me.

Thanks in advance.

Looking at the same model all the time does get annoying. Feral druids also have the fun of rogue gear models that don't really look good on Tauren (melee leather uses Rogue models). Both of these are changing next patch, to some extent at least. We're getting more bear/cat models (moonkin/trees still look the same) and all leather gear's getting based off the same look next tier.

If you really care about looking different as you level up, and looking shiny while fighting, don't roll a Druid.

Though with the new skins coming in 3.2, if you get bored of your current model, you can go get a haircut and get a new one. This may only give you.. six? or so skins to go through, but it does beat what we have now. That said, I don't really mind looking the same, because I don't put much stock in how my character looks.

Loud noises.

The new skins just give the form issue a reset point. It still exists.

A level 10 bear can still look the same as a fully decked out bear. Until that issue goes away the problem is not solved.

So yes a bear/cat/tree/moonkin can look the same from the time you get it till forever just now bear/cat can get a new haircut and have the problem reset for 2 forms. Otherwise yu look the same as a level 10/20 bear/cat.

to be fair, once enough gear is acquired, pretty much every person of class starts looking like every other person of that same class. its just that druids have to deal with that starting at level 10, whereas other classes really only deal with it at the level cap.

The flip side of the coin is that, as a druid, you can look like multiple forms depending on what you're doing (and how you're talents are allocated). Tired of looking at that humanoid form? Go bear. Want to skulk around? Go cat. Want to swim fast? Go aquatic. Want to fly? Bird! Then of course there's the boomkin form and the tree form. Yes, they all look the same once you've done them once, but at least you're not stuck with the same form from 1 to 80 just in different shinies. I love my druid!

Thanks guys. Ive decided to go druid because i do find it more fun. I will just have to suck it up and learn to like the way cat/bear looks. While other classes do get cool looking armor and weapons none of them can turn into a bear or a cat. I guess druid is a little more unique than other classes in that way.
