Arctic Winds? ? ? Follow

Is Arctic Winds really that bad for PvP? It looks like it was designed to be a PvP talent, yet nobody uses it even when they're full frost. I'm just curious if it would be worth it or not...who knows. I might just try it out for schucks and grins.

I don't see anything wrong with the talent, hell I would take it in my soloing build as well and a frost raiding (lawl) build for the 5% extra damage.

I am curious why you say that "nobody uses it even when they're full frost".

I can't imagine why a frost mage wouldn't take this talent. I have all 5 points with my mage. Not only does it increase my damage but reduces the chance that I'll be hit. Seems kind of like a no brainer to me.

Am I missing something here?

only reasoning I can imagine is if you are pretty split between frost and another tree, where 5% damage is pretty expensive for 5pts.
