How soon we forgetFollow

So I started playing around with a new priest tonight. It's been a while. So long, in fact, that my regular priest doesn't even have any talents, because I haven't played her since whatever patch last refunded them all. It seems I've gotten out of some important priestly habits. For example, this was me between levels 5 and 10:

"WTF? Why am I dying so much?"
"And why do I never have any mana?"
"I do NOT remember the lower levels sucking this bad."

And then...

"Ohhhhh that's right. I need a wand."

I started a new priest on a PVP server, I suck... and I have a wand. I keep getting distracted looking for spells I don't have and forgetting how best to cope with low level which is mainly smite, wand, sheild/renew and ruuuuuuuuuuun.

It is also fun picking up those alts that are stuck in the mid 30 - 40's. First, not remembering to redo talents. Then thinking that you are good to go, but realizing 5 levels later that you could have had a mount because they reduced the level for a mount to 30, not 40. Finally, feeling like a complete moron, because after 2 levels and go to train as you just hit a new "even number" level mark, you realized that there were about 10 new abilities that were moved to lower levels.

Yea, we forget real quick...

This made me lol, just because it sounds just like me when I started my shadow priest. I think I got so used to playing the higher levels that I forgot how few abilities you get to start out with. I think I even forgot to put my talents on for a good while.
