LF UI advice for Ret and ProtFollow

#1 Jul 30 2009 at 10:14 AM Rating: Good
As title states, looking for some advice on a UI for Prot and Ret.

As it stands I am using Bartender, and I simply have 4 bars on the bottom(2 rows tall total, 8 bars wide each) and then I have 2 vertical rows on the far right side.

Here are my sets:

Prot
and
Ret

As you can see, it's ugly and plain. The only difficulties I have are when 25man raid buffed with Pally Power and Decursive up it completely crushes the right side of my screen. Often time my debuffs are hidden under decursive which is half covered by buffs.

The other issue I have is keeping an eye on my HP because I am chasing GCD(and in Ret, regular CD's) so I watch the bars and click(rather than use keyboard, this way I can move easily via Numpad).

I am 100% never going to change my movement binds. I spent 6 years using Numpad on FFXI and now going on 1 year on WoW. It's natural for me and it just works out nicer. My primary concern is a nicer HP/MP setup, easier to manage buffs/debuffs, and maybe a nice set to organize the buttons for easier access.

*edit*
Wanted to specify why I click rather than hit buttons for abilities... In FFXI a tab would work effectively as far as your char could view on the screen. Yet I noticed VERY early in WoW it seems to have the range of basically a melee swing. Any way to change that? I'd love to set up keybinds to 1-5 alt1-5 ctrl1-5
