Hey everyone, I'm just coming back from a WoW break (you can never stay away, can you?) and I was going to start up my mage because I hate my paladin.

I have the dual spec (got it yesterday because I sold a orb of deception for 800g) and I was wondering if you all could give me advice on my two builds and just really any tips for leveling fast. I'm also wondering about my professions, currently I have Tailoring/Enchant and I just wondered if it was any good in WotLK or should I just get new professions?

I have also looked at sticky.

Thanks

Edit: I am considering taking some time to work on getting the Ambassador title, because I am waiting for my guildies to get my level. Does anyone know how long it takes to get that title, or some good methods for getting easy rep? (honored with everyone but stormwind (revered)

Runecloth. You should be able to farm tons of it in EPL(or Silithus if you also want to work on Cenarion Circle rep) at your level in a relatively short matter of time.

Don't forget about lowbie quests, they add up a ton of rep.

I just got my Amabassador title a couple of weeks ago with my gnome. I did a bunch of the beginning Darnassu/Auberdine quests which were ridiculous at level 80, but it worked really well :D At level 64, you'll go through it as easy as I did.

Also, don't forget that in addition to Runecloth, silk and wool are also worth rep with the factions. I was only able to turn in one set of each kind of cloth with each faction, but every little bit helps.

As for the professions in WoTLK, I think enchanting is much easier in this expansion. Get a scribe to make you some scrolls and sell them at the AH for a ton of gold while moving your skill up.

Tailoring is a bit of a grind, because you need SO much frostweave, but you don't need a whole lot of those "other" items like we used to. I always liked those two professions together since tailoring gives you some nice stuff to d/e. I'd stick with them, but ultimately it's your call.

Good luck getting your title, and have fun!
