Go to a "Pet Trainer" that should be located somewhere near your Hunter Trainer.

Well that's why!

You should head to some place like "Thunder Bluff" or "Orgrimmar", there's a pet trainer in both of those cities.

Pet trainer in org is standing just outside the inner circle where the hunter trainer is , in fact if i remember right depending on which path you take you go past the pet trainer to get to the hunter trainer.
