Helpless warriorFollow

Hello

I know warriors are waw strong but what is I don't get is that when I'm running around for no reason and meet a rogue, I get to taste the dirt all the time and never him. The only way i can beat them is by running away to my guild protector's.

Oh and another thing is that my friends thing I'm a great tank because I do anything to get the attention of the enemy even if i'm low on heath, I just want to know the limits of what a tank should do.

Thanks in advance for anyone who gives me kind advise!! even if its not useful THX

for rogues, try retaliation + defensive stance with a sword and shield to weather their burst. use shield wall after they dismantle you, and keep piercing howl on them to keep their speed down.

as for in-depth tanking advice, check out the sticky, or head over to tankspot.com for specific fight-based strategy.

Don't think this is realistic. Their burst happens while you're being locked in a stun. By the time you trinket out of that (if you even got the PvP trinket equipped or are lucky enough to be Human) and switch stances and weapons, the burst is over. You then have 20 seconds until the next possible Kidney Shot, not counting any Vanish + Cheap Shot, Blind or Gouge that might shorten the time even more. You either win the fight in that short time span after using your trinket, or you're dead for sure thanks to the next incoming stun that you obviously won't get out of anymore. Defensive Stance isn't helping with delivering some serious damage yourself, even more so since you'll rely on Overpower to make it happen. Also, you need/want the rage gained while the rogue is beating on you for your own offensive. Stance dancing seems awfully wrong in that situation.

Changing stance after trinketing the Kidney Shot would IMO only make sense to use a Disarm yourself. Not only will it drastically reduce incoming damage, but you'll also prevent the rogue from building Combo Points for the duration.

Can't use Shield Wall without a shield equipped, so unless it's a bug or oversight, you won't be able to use it while being under the effect of Dismantle. For this very reason I haven't even tried to do so. If it actually works even though it shouldn't, please let me know :)

I just have one question... where was your healer? If your health is low, your healer should be taking care of that... unless they're dead. lol

Beyond that, I'd say you're doing exactly what a tank should do. If the tank doesn't have the aggro, the group doesn't have a chance. Your dps won't survive too many hits. That's what you're there for. So just keep doing what you're doing and pray your healer stays awake!

Rogues are a tough class to beat when you arent expecting them and its 1v1, most of the time people dont level with pvp trinkets so a rogue has 2 full stun locks they can get on you without you being able to do anything and then a vanish to add on to that.
