Does the riding talent work on fliers?Follow

In the unholy tree, does the talent that increases mount speed by 20% work on the Winged Steed of the Ebon Blade?

Just looking at what my spec will be, and I may drop that talent if it only works on land mounts.

Thanks!

Edit: I should add that I do not have epic flying yet, and will not have it for a long time. 5,000 gold is to much when I still need to get gems for level 80 gear. If I had epic flying, I would skip the talent due to load times (I am trying to speed up finding herbs)

It works on all of your mounts, so that includes flyer. :)

For as far as my guess goes and I've noticed the talent works on your flying mount as long as you remain on the ground. I don't think it increases your flight speed.

It does increase your flight speed.

When I have to travel a long distance, I usually switch from blood to unholy just to have the increase in speed.

If you have a mod that tells you your % movement speed (like carbonite), yes it does increase all of your mounted speeds.

You can test it by flying next to someone with a flyer who doesn't have a mount speed boost...

You've noticed? How did you do a proper scientific/logical comparison?

It does in fact work on both the ground and in the air. Just be aware though that usually mount speed buffs don't always stack.
