So was looking into having a back up replenishment for our 10 mans for when the hunter can't come or is in the tunnel as MM.
The Enduring Winter talent seems contradictory due to cast times of FB, how the buff works and spell spamming. So was reading and some guy on wowhead was say, 'Dude that's why you only get 1 point of the talent.'
Since our mage has a PvP frost build, I am thinking he can tweak it to have the one point and some other utility/buffing talents. Is this just retarded or a viable option?

It really depends on what you will be depending on. Will you be getting it for the replenishment buff that Blizzard messed up on for how it re-applies or for the extended time on the water elemental?

It works, just that it refreshes at in-opportune times before you get the ticks off because of the speed of frostbolt.
