Hello am making the frost resistance gear in a few mins, and would like to know if i should just gem sp in them, or go for mp/5 or both.
Also should i go for the ring with frost resistance on?

What on earth do you need frost resistance gear for?
While it's not common to use FR gear for Hodir, people do it. Sapphiron is also a fight where it's very helpful to use FR gear if you're just breaking into Naxx.
That said, I'm not too sure about your stats, and what would need to be improved. An armory link would be helpful.

but am in pve gear atm not my frost gear, my mana goes down to 14k ish, 250 mp5 while casting and 2k sp, i was thinking just putting int in them.
Also we are learning Hodir when we get to him, so i through it would be better to take some dmg out of the fight.

14kish mana? Ouch! Definitely put int in there, 2k spellpower isn't too bad.
My disc set only have 1800-ih SP base, but I have 22k mana.
...did I go overboard on int? (wow-heroes puts me at Ulduar 25 level in that gear)

Edit: On hodir you will be gimping your dps to save minor damage. Just don't get hit and don't stack beyond 2 of biting cold. You're not very likely to even attempt the hardmode with people in the raid wearing frost resist.

Ok, I'll grant you Hodir, but using FR gear on Saph used to be prevalent during the first few weeks of WotLK raiding. It's a lot less common, practically nonexistent even, now, but when you are first starting Naxx and nobody's in full epix yet, it can be a major boon for healers.
we are taking new geared players into naxx with us, so i wanted to take alot of the dmg out from Sapphiron, also i was watching tankspot on hodir, and he said that the fr did slow them down, but they took alot less dmg.
So should i just use it for Sapphiron or try it for Hodir aswell? maybe its just me but i through it would help the raid out if not then cool ^^.
