Suggestion to New PostersFollow

#1 Jul 12 2009 at 7:23 PM Rating: Excellent
Since I check the forums every so often while I play WoW, I have noticed a trend of spam posts with similar questions.

If you have not read the F.A.Q. do that before you post.

If you have read it, but still are lost, check the first 2 pages to be sure no one has posted before you with a similar question.

Lastly:
If you have numerous questions, especially similar ones such as PvP or Spec questions, make ONE topic.

For example:

Thread title: PvP Questions!
What is best spec for PvP?
What is hit cap for PvP?
What glyphs are used for PvP?

or

Thread title: Fire Spec Q's!
How do I spec fire?
What is Fire rotation?
What glyphs did you pick and why?
What is typical dps with "x" gear?

If you have questions LATER(after you made first post sometimes more questions come to mind) just respond to your own posts. Most of us will read a thread every time it shows new posts out of curiosity and if you need help, we will respond.

This will stop people from becoming annoyed and be more likely to help you. I also see people getting rated down(which is sad but understandable) for making repeated posts in a short time.

Just an idea for you guys to keep you quickly answered and not becoming a nuisance! :D

Now if only we can get the folks who don't read the FAQ before posting to read this before posting. Smiley: tongue

Not entirely true all the time. Some of the folks who make repeated posts like that have actually reached a karma default level that makes it look like they've been rated down when they haven't.

I edited the first title to add **Read Before Posting** we will see how that goes...
