So anyway, I finally got around to getting dual-spec and started working on a tanking set. Most of the gearing seems to be more or less straight forward. I'm stacking stamina until I feel comfortable with my HP pool, then adding agility. However I'm left with one kinda nagging question; what do I do about crit. I'm curious if it's ever really worth spending any time itemizing for on gear, or is it a stat that is just simply 'nice to have' when it appears on other gear you like.

My limited understanding of bears at this point seems to give me 2 options:

---
Improve threat directly: more crit ---> More Savage Defense & Improved Leader of the Pack procs ---> more survivability

verses something like

Improve survival directly: More dodge ---> More Natural Reaction procs ---> more Mauling ---> more threat
---

Is one of these preferred once you are happy with your HP/armor? Or am I missing something all together more important here?

For reference I'm sitting at 30k HP, 62% damage reduction through armor, 31% dodge and 27% critical at the moment with some gear still left to be enchanted/upgraded/gemmed etc. Any advice from you experienced bears out there would be much appreciated!

I pretend SD doesn't exist.

My health is high enough for 10 mans so I pile on the agility.

Gem/chant for stam till you don't want more then pile on agility.

I logged out in tank gear . I guess I bought a new hat, details are fuzzy.

Go see Nat Pagle get a better pole .

Then either scrounge up left over BoJs for a new idol then go to Grizzly for another one. You want both.

But get the fishing pole first. Priorities and all.

1 BoJ away from the idol, hopefully I'll get it later in the week. Next couple nights are raid nights, so I've had to put my plans on hold for a bit as I'm needed back in tree form.

Ya I've been really lazy about this since they changed fishing. I mean now I can fish anywhere, no matter the skill, so I've been less motivated to get +fishing stuffs.
