Regrowth+GridFollow

I have regrowth glyphed and I was trying to make Grid show when regrowth was nearing it's end, so that I can recast it in time to get the benefit of the glyph.

It's normally not a problem to just watch the buff and cast when it gets low, but when I'm trying to heal 2 tanks it makes it a little tricky to keep regrowth rolling without wasting a large portion of the HoT.

I downloaded GridStatusHots and took a good look at The Honorable dadanox's little guide over on the priest forums (which is a really good starting point and should probably be wiki'd or something) but I can't quite seem to make regrowth show when it starts to run out.

Having it show when it is missing is the closest I can get, but that defeats the purpose of the glyph.

I'm a little stumped.

Any help would be appreciated.

Possibly a thread for the general or maybe troubleshooting forums, but it's more likely to be read by someone who knows what I am talking about here.

I don't honestly use GRID, but to track my hots and dots I use Classtimers. Sometimes it gets a little funky if you don't have the latest version as far as tracking other people's Hots/dots as well.

I prefer to just use Clique and the X-perl raid frames. :P

Found these awesome guides for setting Grid up for a druid.

1) http://treebarkjacket.blogspot.com/2009/01/how-to-grid-hot-tracking.html

I have used these (slighlty modified) and find it excellent - it also gives you a bit more of an idea on how to customise it more yourself. Grid is fantastic, but not necessarily the easiest mod to work out how to customise fully.

Thanks Friar, that is exactly what I was looking for.

I'm loathe to install an extra addon (like classtimers) because I play on a laptop, and the less that I have hogging memory the better.

I tried X-Perl, but found it was a bit too graphics heavy and slowed my computer down at bad times.

Thanks again

I tried Grid, with all the setup, and I also tried a customized pitbull, but nothing I've found has been as good as healbot for keeping track of all your hots easily. I recommend it.
