Are you taking about the mangle-spam builds, or did you mean 2t4?

I meant T4.

Glad at someone is psychic enough to notice these things.

:)

Freaking 2T4 feral...I actually hated the fact that it was so good.
But, the fact is, 2T8 wasnt so great at first. It'll be now, with the changes to Eclipse. I welcome the idea of, instead of nerf and change the old bonus, they will adjust the new ones. I think its the right thing to do, anyway.

So is there a feral idol for bears?

So they're leaving druid as the only class without a decent interrupt? /joy

So glad I didn't bother with Feral PvP in WotLK...

Edit:

There's one feral idol with 2 procs. One proc gives dodge, one gives agility. They apparently don't want bears to get both dodge and agility, so they're limiting each proc to one form.

That's a bit backwards thinking, right? T9 should be better than T8, not equal, what's the point in upgrading then? The way I see it, the set bonuses between the different tiers should be roughly equal in value, so that with the stat increase between tiers, you end up with better gear when you upgrade to the next tier.

Please see T6 bonus and tBC. Then reply.

Hint: It lasted through many tiers.

That's beside the point. The fact that something happened before, doesn't make it right.

What's up with this "only for non-player targets" crap they're spewing lately? First it's Paladins and their Exorcism not working in PvP. Then Ghostcrawler says they did it as a temporary fix because having spells work/not work in and out of PvP is horrible.

Now this?

Ghostcrawler, are you aware of the irony?

I don't mind that sort of a change. If it makes them easier to balance PvP without badly affecting PvE, and vice versa, then i'll happily put up with it. Mind you, I can't really see a need for the change. I don't think druid interrupts are OP compared to kick etc.

The spell interrupt effect only matters if the opposing class is stun immune or has some sort of stun resistance. Like a Death Knight with Icebound Fortitude up. But hey, silencing a Death Knight is like silencing a Hunter. Not really effective, y'know.

Of course, a lot of classes get talents to reduce the duration of stuns. Priests do. Now, take Bash, for instance. 4 second stun, 5 with talents. Priests get a 30% stun duration reduction from talents, which puts Bash at 3.5 seconds. The spell interrupt lasts 3 seconds.

Meaning the Priest would still be stunned longer than the duration of the spell interrupt. Of course, if the Druid doesn't have the talents, the Priest will get a whoppin' 0.5 seconds of casting if the spell interrupt is removed from the effect.

I totally see this nerf being justified, because the amount of Disc Priests being roflstomped by Druids is, like, you know... a lot, I guess.

When DR on stuns kicks in, Ferals will be left without an interrupt.

Edit:

Except Bear-form Feral Charge, but you can't use that on your current target.

Maim had an interrupt as part of the Feral PvP set bonus all through TBC, was it really that OP?
