Feral 2pc tank bonus is beyond worthless and I hope it is a placeholder. Growl already has diminishing returns, and we should never need it unless we're tank swapping anyway.

The feral idol looks great, but I wonder if the procs will stack, and what the internal cooldown is. If they stack and have only a 9-16 second ICD (like the Idol of Terror), that would be beyond amazing!

Also we have three ilevels of sets coming out. Wonder how that will break up; Emblems of Triumph will only get you the middle set (and I believe the pieced will be the helm and shoulders).

Moonfire crits, are you ******* kidding me?

Thats gonna tick for like 2.5k...

Moonfire suddenly becomes that much more important.

4 piece set is alright I'd rather have have 2 piece t8 and 2 piece t9 and fill in the rest.

The idol is alright as well, and since it procs of tics and not the actual moonfire that's pretty sweet. Nothing like a free 3% crit every now and again.

I feel like I should just stick with 2pc T7 and 2pc T8 for my feral deeps set.... /sigh

Both feral bonuses are pretty miserable; Barkskin is nice, sure, but a meager 10% added reduction once a minute seems like a pointless endeavor on tier gear. The crit chance on Rip is kinda nice I suppose, but we're already pushing 50% crit regularly...it's such a nonlinear bonus that only gets worse the better your gear gets.

The feral idol...dear god want.

From that video, on Nelf Druids:

1. Good GOD, white hair looks terrible.
2. Blue (?) hair looks ok, but the cat looks a little pink.
3. Black hair looks nice, but the bear has a skunk line.
4. Purple hair is VERY pink in cat form.
5. Green hair looks best in cat form, but bear form looked the same as black hair? Boo skunk line.

What is the deal with Balance 4P bonus?! T7 4P bonus: Your Wrath and Starfire spells gain an additional 5% critical strike chance. T9 4P bonus: Your Starfire spell gains an additional 5% critical strike chance.

So not only did they just rehash an old set bonus, they nerfed it as well :S

I'm sure some of the released stuff is place holders. MMO Champ has said as much.

Feral Tier

The head and shoulders... I mean are we getting a new terrify children ability? Also why haste? I mean its freaking tier gear and your forcing haste on us again?

Resto Tier

Has to be place holder.

Boomkin Tier

Placeholder art for sure as is the same as resto. Hit on gear is unneeded. Maybe they can take feral's haste and we can trade for the hit?

All the art is currently placeholders. Whether the set bonuses and stats are remains to be seen.

I bet 4 pieces is a placeholder. I doubt they would do so right with itemization and then **** up with 4t9. The idol is a bit better than the ones we have right now. The Moonfire talent should be a little bit more interesting now too.
If 4t9 is this, I doubt I will pick it up.

The Resto 4pc and relic really lean towards making rejuv a must-use spell.

Especially with the lowering of the LB bloom part (although I personally think that the bloom was rather high, so perhaps they are simply scaling it to a more reasonable level)

Makes me happy, since I already use rejuv 99% of the time.

Sorta sucks that eclipse is still bugged on the ptr no matter what you do it still follows the old rule of lunar and solar being on the same cooldown despite the Tooltip saying different (mindel still hasnt copied over so im having to deal with a nelf premade, the gear selection she started with is very nice though Smiley: grin)

So....
4T9 Balance was really a placeholder. The actual bonus is worst the placeholder, though....

Balance
4 piece - Increases the critical strike chance of your Starfire and Wrath spells by 3%.

If this go live, I doubt I'll even try to wear 4T9.

Right now they're speculating t9 bonus atm is also a placeholder. Blizzard has never repeated set bonuses before and I doubt they'll repeat the t6 bonus.

Right now according to mmo-champion the new T9 4P setbonus is: "Increases the damage done by your Starfire and Wrath spells by 4%."
It's starting to look like something useful to me.

Graylo summed up the new T9 4p bonus in his blog

Quote:
The new 4T9 is an improvement over the previous versions, but 2T8 is so good that Blizzard would have a hard time come up with a reasonable set bonus to compete with it. When you compare 2T8 to 4T9 directly, the 2T8 set bonus is clearly better by a wide margin.

However, if you upgrade to 4T9 your picking up more then a new set bonus. The additional stats you will pick up along with 4T9 will close the gap, and according to my model eliminate the gap if your using the highest iLevel of T9.

It is important to note how close the two numbers are. This shows that there is very little difference between using 2T8.226 and 4T9.258. It also indicates that you probably shouldn't upgrade to 4T9 until you have a full set of the 258 iLevel tier set.

That's a bit backwards thinking, right? T9 should be better than T8, not equal, what's the point in upgrading then? The way I see it, the set bonuses between the different tiers should be roughly equal in value, so that with the stat increase between tiers, you end up with better gear when you upgrade to the next tier.

Please see T6 bonus and tBC. Then reply.

Hint: It lasted through many tiers.
