Outlands Prot SpecFollow

#1 Jun 23 2009 at 11:24 AM Rating: Good
Ok I left WoW a while ago as a level 62 Tauren Warrior. I just recently rejoined and heard Prot is a very favorable talent spec throughout outlands because it has good offensive power now. I want to be a raid tank anyway when I hit 80 so I allocated my point into Prot as such: http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#LVZ0xZVhtrxczVdf0R

I plan on placing the last point into Critical Block and one into Warbringer then filling out the final two levels of Prot on ym way to 70. I dont know where to go from there.

What should I look to place my last 10 points into?

Is this spec any good for what I want? A leveling spec that can tank instances when I need too?

Thanks for any help!

I would go with something more along the lines of this spec
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent#LZbZVItMx0zibIzsGo

And pick up gear with str on it for shield slams, then have a set of tank gear for instances. So basically, you would be leveling with a sword and board, wearing dps gear. Then, if i were you, i would fill in my talents to get to the deep wounds tank spec found here:

I went with something like this build for my general levelling build. You could swap around the points from improved thunder clap into incite if you feel like it. The reason I went all the way to shockwave prior to putting any points into arms or fury is that many of the deep prot talents are very strong.

For level 80 a generic raid build would be something like this.
