Criting in cat formFollow

I am only level 24 so I am still new to druid. I am putting my talents into feral. I just added my third point into Sharpened claws giving me a total crit of 17.99% I just checked my recount and it says I have yet to get a single crit off. Any ideas why?

Take it as a sign and don't go Vegas.
