Looking for some input from seasoned arena druids.

I have a geared resto druid and through WG am starting to accrue honor to get some PvP gear. I am curious what general expectations are of druid in 2s and 3s? I'll likely play with some friends, but we all have little to no experience with arenas. I am curious what the general expected roll is for druids in arenas between Balance and Resto?

I primarily need to know because I am honor capped and need to spend my points, was going to get some Deadly gear, but wasn't sure if I should go with spirit stuff or crit stuff? I would think 2s and 3s a balance spec with minor healing would be best for pure burst. But I could be wrong.

What kind of arenas do you do? What's your spec/build? What are good classes in your opinion to roll with a druid?

Thanks in advance

Resto/Warrior
Resto/Lock
Resto/Frost Mage

Those three are all viable choices.

My team is resto/ret but with the undeniable changes to reactive damage and ret paladins in general its made it a lot harder for us to compete. Before the thorns change I was buff up in pve gear and cast until my sp trinket proc'd then use my on use sp trinket and get like 3500 spell power to buff thorns. With thorns/ret aura/EfaE rogues would open up on my paladin and do something like 5k-10k damage back at them.

But in the sense of easing your way into arenas I suggest using resto/warrior. I do skrims (don't ask why we call skirmishes skrims) with a warrior and we win at least 95% of all the matches we ever go up against.

As for your gear get pieces that are "of salvation" it's your spirit gear which is still your best stat for pvp druids.

I don't have the time at the moment to put up the few builds you can use but probably in a few hours I'll be able to get some for you.

Hopefully for now this is enough.

Also, balance is incredibly demanding in arena and balance pvp takes a TON of work and practice. Check out some Buddhist and Lewd videos for some crazy balance/rogue 2's vids. Mind you, buddhist is quite possibly the best balance druid in pvp.
