Someone mentioned this in a previous post. Booksof higher learning throughout Dalaran?

Basically, there are a few spots in dalaran where random books spawn, the goal is too read each of the arcane magic books and then you get a small arcane voidwalker non-combat pet. There are 8 spawn points scattered around, 1 for each book, and there are multiple flavor books that can spawn instead. Everytime I hearth to or log into dalaran I check all the points.

The Kirin Tor familiar is a great pet. If you sit around idle long enough it does a little arcane explosion ^_^

I found this achievement easy with a little planning. Join your server's higher learning channel. Use a chat addon (I use chatter) that lets you get audible and warning notices of a word showing up in chat. I got a raid warning every time the word "real" came up in chat.
I kept a hearthstone available to hearth back if a real book showed up. Others in my guild were doing it too, and it was fun to share the endeavor. I had my pet in under a week.
