and use a nerf bat. cwutididtahr?

Druids

* Flight Form: Can now be learned at level 60. Flight speed increased to 150%.
--- Cool
* Innervate: Duration reduced to 10 seconds, and cooldown reduced to 3 minutes. This means each use of Innervate will give half as much mana as before, but it will be available twice as often.
Cool
* Lifebloom: The final heal that occurs when this spell blooms has been reduced by 20% on the base and on the spell power coefficient.
--- Meh
* Mangle: Ranks 4 and 5 base points reduced by about 11%. Scaling from attack power unchanged.
For cat and bear? Not clear and I want to know.
* Rake: Ranks 6 and 7 base points on initial and periodic damage reduced by about 7%. Scaling from attack power unchanged.
--- Nerf
* Rip: Ranks 8 and 9 base points and points per combo point reduced by about 6%. Scaling from attack power unchanged.
--- Nerf
* Savage Defense: The animation for gaining this buff will no longer make the bear stand upright
--- Trivial change
* Shred: Ranks 8 and 9 base points reduced by about 10%. Scaling from attack power unchanged.
--- Nerf
* Swipe (Cat): Percent of weapon damage done reduced from 260% to 250%.
--- Nerf
* Travel Form: Can now be learned at level 16.
--- Cool
* Talents
o Balance
+ Balance of Power: Now reduces all spell damage taken by 3/6%, rather than reducing the chance to be hit by spells by 2/4%.
--- Boomkin explain to me NOW.
+ Eclipse: The Starfire and Wrath buffs from this talent are now on separate 30 second. cooldowns. In addition, it is not possible to have both buffs active simultaneously.
--- Buff I think again, Boomkin clarify NOW.
+ Owlkin Frenzy: Now also restores 2% base mana every 2 seconds for the duration (10 seconds) in addition to its current effects.
--- Cool
o Restoration
+ Empowered Touch: Now also increases the amount of bonus healing effects for Nourish by 10/20%.
--- Cool
+ Improved Barkskin: No longer provides dispel resistance to all effects on the druid, but now reduces the chance your Barkskin is dispelled by an additional 35/70%.
--- Meh

Cat nerf was coming. Hoping the Mangle change isn't for bear as well. Nothing to crazy overall.

Discuss.

Cat dps being nerfed really isn't that unexpected, no. Not sure yet how drastic it's going to affect the dps numbers, but it seems like it could have been worse. Will just have to wait and see, and hope the mangle won't be for bear too... although I suspect it might be.

From what i believe this means Back to Back eclipse procs, say I spam wrath first to proc lunar then commence starfiring while eclipse is up normally i would continue Starfiring till the cooldown was up since wrath wouldnt proc eclipse till then but now starfire can proc solar eclipse and i would wrath until i procced lunar again with wrath.

The balance of power change is simple 3-6% reduction in damage taken by spells instead of 2-4% less chance to be hit by spells

It's a mild nerf and a slight buff.

IE: In the ignis fight when he does flame jets you have to stop casting and what not. With balance of power there is a 4% chance that he will miss you with those. I get hit the least with flame jets when he does it because of balance of power. But now that it reduces magic damage taken could it be the return of... Dare I say.... DAS PANZERKIN

Also for pvp they thought it was op because of Nelf racial with lesser chance to hit.

The way its worded it sounds like a buff. It all just depends on if you can proc the Lunar Eclipse and when its on cooldown you can proc Solar Eclipse. If thats the case then yes it's a huge buff.

This really sucks for resto pvp. We're gonna have to go back to covering up innervate.

From what I saw elsewhere, we lose about 70 damage per shred and mangle and a small amount on the bleeds (80 per tick on rake and 30 per tick of rip). It doesn't look like more than about a 100dps loss. I doubt many of us will even notice considering the RNG variation we already see. In fact it makes you wonder why they bothered with the change - maybe just to shut the other classes who are complaining about OP druids for a while.

Just want to say something about the Moonkin change. It can be a huge buff but it also can be a slight buff. I mean, for Boomkins out there used to use Lunar Rotation, they might need to change some of the talents and/or gear, so they wont get oom from casting so many wraths and not so many Starfires.
Also, it will change quite a lot the BiS gear. 4T8 should be BiS without any discussion now. And I *think* crit hate should gain a little bit more of value and haste lose a little bit too (take in consideration the numbers for old Lunar rotation, that is. for old Solar rotation, it should be quite the opposite, with haste gaining a little bit and crit losing a little bit of their value).

Anyway, I think this change is more than welcome. Was getting quite bored with moonkins, since I was always feral and changed to moonkin/resto on Wotlk. I'm missing the "no rotation" feeling from feral.
