I have been using Unholy Dps spec since I started my DK about a month and a half ago. My build is 17/0/54. I believe that this spec is a pre-3.1 spec and I will eventually switch to 0/10/61. My question isn't really about my spec, but if anyone has any advice on this I would appreciate it. My real question or favor would be if I could have you guys look at my armory link and see if there is anything I can do with the gear I have as far as improving my performance (dps). My top dps is about 2.6k. My typical rotation for single target is - IT,PS,SS,BS,BS and then DCx2. After that I usually have SS or BS back up. For mult targets I typically use - IT,PS,Pest,BB,SS,DCx2,SS and then BBx2. I know I have UB and Bloodtap, but not sure how I should incorporate these in my rotation. What is more important as a RP dump DC or UB? Also, D&D, I have heard back in forth whether this is good to use in aoe'ing. I know if causes threat and don't wont to pull aggro. Other questions, I have are based on my stats. Right now, I am at the hit cap and now starting to work on expertise, with the strenght I have now, would it be beneficial to take some of my strength gems out and add expertise gems, or will the expertise come as I get higher-end gear. Right now, I have been running a bunch of 5-man heroics and a majority of my gear has come from the emblems of heroism and drops in the 5-man. I know that I can increase my dps by getting better gear, but was just looking for someone take a look at what I have and see if there is anything different they would of done.

You shouldn't be using AP gems ... Str > AP, you have talents that boost Str but not AP directly. BoK works on Str not AP directly.
UB every time you need to refresh it, but don't step out of GCD/CD cycle, do the refresh on a free GCD.
DC all the other times you RP dump.
Keep UB up for the entire duration.
Don't use DnD in AE unless your tanking. It's not as good as IT>PS>Pest>UB>BB... It takes too many runes, and it is too high of threat. BB is superior dps on large packs of mobs. I can almost keep up with the Feral Swipe spammers. Seen them getting in the 15k+ DPS ranges. But...
The Ebon Blade rep Boots are slightly better... than your current ones. Slightly more Str, more Crit.
The Spaulders of the Giant Lords are slightly better, once you can gem/chant easily for hit rating on other gear, it has more Str... crit rating.
Even though you bought the Belt your wearing, I really like the Expertise belt from the Argent Tournament. If your looking for a high expertise rating item.
Your wearing tank rings. If you can buy the Titanium Impact Band, it'll be huge improvement. The Ring of Scarlet Shadows is also a very valuable cheap alternative.

Thanks for the information! I will look into getting the gems changed out. On the boots, I assume you mean when I put strength gems in the two sockets, it will be a slight improvement over what I am currently wearing? As of right now, the boots I am wearing have more str and stam. Any additional information will be appreciated. Thanks again!

A recommendation that will help your DPS would be a new sigil; Sigil of Awareness is a good one for any specs other'n blood, would be my recommendation as Scourge Strike will be a huge part of your single-target damage. Other than that, looks like a nice tight spec you got, and a good start on the gear.
To answer your question RE RP dump, Unholy Blight will be up enough of the time for you to use Death Coil as a bit RP dump, shifting out of imp Unholy Presence and Ghoul Frenzy to put the points into Morbidity would be points well spent, I think. Seems like you know which stats to prioritize already, so go get 'em, slugger!
