Gearing for EnhancementFollow

Okay, so I leveled my shaman elemental. Have never specced enhancement, and am now dual spec for enhancement.

I've read the Elitist Jerks threads, I've got a nice assortment of melee gear (with plenty of room for upgrades), and I'm suddenly at a standstill.

Based on the gear EP (equipment points, used on Elitist Jerks) and Rawr utility, I realize I'm being overwhelmed with the large selection of gear that appears to be worth considering: a mix of melee and spellpower gear.

Somehow I feel like I'm missing out on the enhancement shaman gearing concept, unless this is exactly what Blizzard intended.
