Which weapon for my OH? (Combat Rogue)Follow

So, I have 2 good off hand weapons. One is this:

It is "Sacrificial Kris Of The Tiger" and it gives me +5 strength and +5 agility. I'm thinking that it's great because it's really fast, thus is good in my OH. Character menu shows 125-176 melee damage with this.

The other one is this:

The character menu shows 123-174 melee damage with this.

So, which one should I go with? And do I let the melee damage range determine which weapon I should choose?

Well, there's a lot of things you have to know before you decide two weapons.
First of all, the actual damage (125-176 for example) tends to be less important than the DPS number. Especially for weapons like this, where the damage range are almost exactly the same.

I'm guessing you should go with satyr's lash, because it's 8 higher white dps and the 5 str / 5 agi is pretty mediocre compared to the proc on satyr's lash and the DPS increase.

It also looks like there's something wrong with your character sheet, because look at this napkin math:

Sacrificial Kris: 1.4 speed, 125-176 damage
(125+176)/2 (averaging the damage) = 150.5
150.5/1.4=107.5 DPS for your Sacrificial Kris.

Satyr's Lash:
1.7 speed, 123-174 damage
(123+174)/2 = 148.5
148.5/1.7=87.35 DPS for your Satyr's Lash not taking into account your stats, talents, and the stats on each weapon and proc.

It looks as if you're equipping Satyr's Lash in offhand and Sacrificial Kris in mainhand- You should know that when dual wielding, your offhand weapon receives a 50% penalty to damage, which can be lowered to 25% by taking 5 points in Dual Wield Specialization.

So yeah, use the satyr's lash. And learn how WoW works... It will be priceless in the long run.
