Mutilate Precision ClarificationFollow

Hey guys, I've been contemplating the switch to 51/7/13 since my gear is 4pc t8 and pretty much full Ulduar.

However I cannot figure out what to do about the 3 points in precision I lose. I am currently running 227 hit rating but I dont ave the Pyrite Infuser as of yet so swapping out a trinket wont fix that. And without actually respeccing to 51/7/13 how much hit would I have to cover via gear/gems? I realize you may just refer me to the spreadsheet, which I use and am seing a gain of 38.xx dps switching specs, which I could envision as Rupture hits REALLY hard with the crits and boosting the base damage would surely help alot.

Now i suppose my real question is; How is my hit displayed before and after points in precision? Does it actually add 1% per talent to the tooltip or is it a passive hidden stat? The spreadsheet doesnt reflect any change in my total hit when adding or removing points in the talents section.

Also I am using Aldriana's latest Mut Spreadsheet.

Thanks for your thoughts/ideas on this.

(my armory gear isnt the proper gear, I was trying on the belt and shoulders to see stat changes and forgot to go back to the 4pc t8.)

With 2/5 points in precision you need a minimum of 289 hit rating. This is with both Draenei racial, and Misery/Imp. FF on the target.
If you're horde you need 315 hit rating with Misery/Imp. FF.
Without presence or debuffs you need 393 to cap.

Thanks, I happened to find that late last night as I was waiting for my server to come back up. I should have known it was on an EJ thread I always look at :p
