I've been listening to the Epic Dolls podcast for the last couple of months after you put a link to it in your sig, and I have to say I really enjoy it. I've noticed they've done a few special class discussion episodes, but they've yet to do one for mages or one since your friend Katarina started co-hosting. You should talk to her about doing a mage discussion, maybe with you and Anobix co-hosting and having them interview the two of you. :-) That would be really awesome.

Bump, just in case you didn't see this yet, since you haven't responded. >.>

I just linked it to Kat. I wouldn't get my hopes up too much about them having Anobix or I on, as I believe it's a podcast mainly by girls. Then again, I haven't heard back from Kat since I just linked this to her, so I could be wrong. Either way, I'd love to hear them do a mage discussion(I'm sure several of the mages from Elitist Jerks or the Oboards whom I respect are ladyfolk).

That's a good point, I didn't about that lol. I think the only time I've heard a guy on their show thus far was when they had a guy fill in for Star Dancer for her "Off the Beaten Path" segment. It would still be cool to have you guys on there regardless, but I'd be happy enough just to have a mage episode.

Kyth from <Fusion> is a girl and is also a raid leader. She is very helpful on EJ and other places.

I used to think Pold was a girl. True Story.

Yeah, I did too up until a few months ago when one of his posts gave it away that he was in fact, male. That's what you get for having your avatar set as a pic of your female toon. :-) Because I'm a female gamer, I have a tendency to assume that if a character is female, the player is female as well, although I know that isn't always the case.

It's a fair assumption. Until someone gives a somewhat explicit noting that they are male or female, the only association you have to the person is the toon you interact with.

People who are like WTF I'M A GUY when you call their chick toons 'she' make me chuckle. Sorry for not being psychic?

Heh heh, yeah. It reminds me of the old Dreams in Digital WoW shorts that Clan Bob made. There was one where the warlock had a dream about his "previous life" in FFXI and he's a Mithra and gets hit on by a taru lol. He was all "I'm going to reroll and name my Mithra Imaguy!" At least the guys who played Mithra had an excuse, since you couldn't be a male Mithra toon. No offense Pold. ;-)

None taken. I play a female character because the original Poldaran(my character on another game called Knight Online) had to be female to have the best stats for a mage.

I actually play a mix of female and male toons. I'm pretty comfortable with that. Both have their enjoyable qualities.

Hehe well i am a male that apart from one male character always plays females and i always laugh when some fool tries to chat me up and being called female never did dent my male ego , main reason i prefer the female characters is that in a lot of races they are smaller so take up far less screen space and lets face facts i prefer looking at females in real life rather than any male so in-game it makes complete sense that i should prefer looking at a female rear view anyway , in some ways i feel sorry for the guys that have to pick one of the large male races just to show how macho they are.

Am i trying to wind up a few people ? the answer is of course.

Well I certainly don't have issues with guys who play female characters in general. :-) If that's what you enjoy, that's great. It's when guys play female characters and then complain when other guys hit on them that cracks me up.
