A few things

So I do still love Frost spec, but I find it really hard to use in BG's and in PVP. Frostbolt is very slow and even with Haste gear, I tend to have trouble killing other players. I want to know what you guys use primarily, Frostbolt or Ice Lance. In BG's I see a lot of Mages just run around spamming Ice Lance. This doesn't seem very effective to me. How do you guys go about using your Frost specs to win? I miss frost, but I seem to get trashed whenever I'm specced as it. Arcane is getting boring. :(

Is there a viable pvp Frostfire spec that includes Ice Barrier? And using the link to my armory in my sig, do I have enough HP/MP for a level 79? I'm trying to grind pvp now while I can for honor, but I want to make sure I'm at least gearing decently.

PvP frost really shines with awesome gear. If you look at a lot of the top frost mages in 2s right now they wear a mix of high level PvE gear and high level PvP gear.

You need the high SP because your burst needs to almost be a one shot. Like you said, FB is a slow cast and if you can't kill a healer in one CS then your not going to kill them.

With that said, at level 79 going frost isn't that great. DKs and rogues are still going to eat you alive. If you really want to sit at that bracket then go arcane so you can at least blow people up.

I was Arcane for a long time, but it got boring and I don't have dual speccing yet.
