What Rune Addon Do You Use?Follow

So, now that summer has started and I don't begin work until Saturday, I am finally taking the time to get my DK's UI together.

I have looked at a bunch of rune watching ones, but none seem that great to me. Simple Rune is easy, but I just don't really like the layout.

Rune Watch is... interesting... but not for me.

I'm just wondering if anyone else is using someone they would recommend? If no one does, I'll just use SR and suck it up until I am used to it.

I used to use runewatch, but I've switched to icehud, and which also cleared up other room on my UI

If you need any help setting it up let me know. One thing I will recommend is to go to target info and go down to the filter and change it to "in combat" so that you only see your diseases. I haven't needed to see any other debuffs on the boss and it makes it really easy to track your stuff.

Awesome, thanks.

Is there any place with that addon to disable the Blizzard unit frame for yourself? I couldn't find one... If I end up using AG, that'll do it fine, but if I don't think Grid has the option.

[EDIT]

Found it, lol.

IceHud + MagicRunes = Awesome.

It's math.

Screen shot.

Note that I have the Hud and runes set to transparent (0 opacity) when out of combat, at 30% with target and 100% in combat. Helps a lot actually.

HOLY CRAP IS THAT GENERAL???? He looks badass! and zomg you have a rune edge I hate you....

Anyway... I'm perfectly fine with icehud's rune cooldowns, my only complaint is when I do malygos and have the combo points... yeah they appear BEHIND my runes and I can't frigging see the combo points. Luckily I could do the flying phase blindfolded almost, but still, really annoying.

Yar, dumb General is dumb!

The IceHud runes are ok, I just prefer having bars with countdowns but can't really figure out why.

And there is a vertical offset setting for combo points if you use the advanced config. Works for rogue points, druid or the mally ones.

Don't be jealous Dilbrt, you'll get one soon!

I'm using a mix of addons from the ArkiveUI compilation, but IceHUD shows the runes next to my vital stats.

Screenie.

Don't mind the chat, it's messed up. And I play on an old monitor, hence the lack of widescreen. Smiley: frown

I really like the customization options of Ice. But, I'm still debating how I want it.

I may add in Simple Rune, too. It isn't my favorite, but it'll be nice to have a second rune timer near my action bar.

Is their a way to change the order of the runes with Icehud?
#13 May 22 2009 at 11:23 AM Rating: Decent
No I don't think you can change the order with icehud, it's the order of the blizzard default. Oh and thanks therion I've got my runes and combo points in a much better place now.

What bar mod are you using? I've been considering going back to a custom one. And bwuh? do you really have your movement keys bound to abilities? how do you move?

Okay, this is killing me.

Is there any way to move the health bar that appears under Ice's UI? The one that says your name and the percentage of your health.

I just want to move it up, but can't find the option anywhere...

You mean the target of target bar? Yes, go to target of target and change the horizontal or vertical. I don't know if you have to be in configuration mode though

I use DeathKnight.Info.Runes. I love the look of it and it really meshes with my UI. It tracks diseases and Pestilence and Death Runes.

*edit* Extra link at the end for some reason.
