You all haven't seen much of me lately. I can no longer post from work unless I bring in my own computer :)

When I am at home, I am either doing family stuff or actually PLAYING the game. Since I had some time to post today, I thought I would let everyone know how I was doing.

As most of you know, I have been trying FOREVER to get my guild of husbands/wives/students/semi-casuals to the point where we can do 25-mans on our own. Well, we made it! I now have close to 60 80s in my guild, and we have a sister-guild that we do a lot of things with that has about 15 80s in it, so between the 75 of us, doing 25-mans happens much more often than not. Also, we have the reputation now of being a good guild that knows what the heck we are doing, so even on the occasion when we have to pug 6-8 people to fill out a 25-man, it generally goes very well (we have recruited about 10 of our 80s from pug raids where it was about 15 - 20 of us from ILL BRED and the rest pugs).

Only about 16 of the 80s in guild are ready for Ulduar so far, so we haven't tried any of THAT on 25-man yet, but at least we are 3/15 on 10-man and I got a nice belt from there the other week that I sometimes wear. Should be getting farther in Uld soon.

Also, I got my prot pally up to about 29.2k unbuffed while still having 542 defense, 103% avoidance with HS up, and about 155 hit rating. I have a lot of gear I can switch out depending on what role I am playing in a raid, so I am fairly happy with where I am personally at right now.

My latest exploit is that 8 of us that have better gear are doing The Dedicated Few, and we downed Arachnid, Plague and Military last night with little difficulty. Hopefully we finish off Construct, Sapph, and KT tonight and finish that achievement.

So, I have NOT dropped off the face of the earth, nor have I quit the game... simply not making the time to post much here anymore since I used to do the majority of my posting from work at lunchtime, and they wised up and blocked the site :)

Glad to hear you're guild is progressing. Even if your guild isn't ready for Ulduar you should try and get a couple 10mans and a 25man in there every week to at least get the 1st boss down(practically free loot).

If anything Flame Leviathan is good practice for when you guys start looking at Ulduar more seriously. Like you already know it's a fight that requires little coordination and is relatively simple to master once you have figured out how to use the vehicles.

It might be worth trying the next time you guys are thinking about an OS or VoA.

Grats on your progression with the guild.
