Frost PvP DPS problem - please shootFollow

This is my DK toon: Belhor

I kinda like my current spec, but I'm willing to change. I have the Hateful Dreadplate set, as you can see, except for the helm (working on that). I usualy have unholy presence on.

My problem is that I seem to be lacking DPS. I tested on a dummy in Ebon Hold and all I can reach is 1.1k dps. Although I'm usualy in the top 7 dmg dealers in BGs, I feel like i can get much more. So what am I doing wrong? I've read up about rotations (I believe the post was from Theo?) and I think I've got that covered now. I think it's mostly gear and/or spec.

Please advice me on what to do or change. Also maybe enchants?

He's looking for PvP advice. I'm no expert but....

Don't bother with worrying about sustained DPS. PvP is about burst and control. Your DPS on the dummy while low is really not indicative of PvP performance where fights are brutal and short.

Keep working on replacing those green and blue pieces with PvP gear as you can. You might consider taking a bit of time and just figuring out which piece is next and making that your goal.

Use Strength gems rather than AP gems (it also increases parry by a small bit). You're also missing enchants.

Consider Unbreakable Armor and Endless Winter. Not saying they're absolutely vital, but I don't PvP without them.

In PvP there are no rotations. You use whatever spell is appropriate at the time. Start reading up on Arena Junkies and similar for strategy help.

Something else I've noticed is that a lot of higher-ranked arena DKs are playing with spell pen. Don't know that I'd do that for BGs, but could be a great strategy for getting up in the rankings. Had a lot of spell pen on my arena lock back in s2-3 and it's certainly effective.

But, again, Arena Junkies and similar sources will have more reliable information. Good luck!
