Hey all
Im comming back to wow after some time to play with my friends. They have all rerolled alliance and we used to play horde.
Most of the are reaching 80, so I want to be there with them to have fun.
The obvious choice was rolling a dk, to skip 55 levels.
But im beeing told theres ALOT of dks, to many.
But whats your experiences ? hows the numbers at endgame ? still to many dks ?

DKs are overpopulated, yes. DKs are either tanks or melee dps, neither job is THAT sought after.... plus the starting at 55 thing made a lot of people play it too.
If you're looking to play a class just to skip leveling then go DK. If you're looking for a raid spot, you're better off looking elsewhere.

Knowing that this is a dk forum, any of you know if hunters and rogues are still overpopulated at endgame ?

I'm not a end game raider, but I haven't seen a rogue anywhere in a long time. Hunters are still everywhere, but they sure can pump out the DPS.
Well my main concern is the long road to 80, hence why I thought hunter. As hunters level really fast, compared to other classes. But I still want to be able to get a dps spot at 80.

Roll Shaman. You'll get to 80 incredibly fast and actually be useful :D
Well I know for sure im going to roll dps, but shaman wasnt my initial choice. If I was to play hybrid dps i would probably go with a retribution paladin as ive heard they can dish out some serious dps now.
But looking around I see and hear that rogues are low populated dps calss these days ill probably roll a rogue.

Ret paladins dish out burst damage, which is great in pvp... but I rarely see ret paladins anywhere near the top in raids.
if you are coming back and remember your login info USE IT i left wow for 2 years and when i came back all my Toons were still there!
or if you want to start over, get one of your friends to level an alt and use the Refer a friend feature -- 300% bonus to XP when grouped with him = ultra wanna throw-up fast leveling

But the problem was the rerolled on alliance, instead of horde so I need to start all over :)

I have to admit, that skipping 55 levels is making me try the DK out.
If I find it fun why shouldent I play it ? after all thats what the game is about, who cares if theres tons o death knights out there :)
