I just wanted to know how would deep fire, PoM pyro, or any fire spec would do in BGs. Right now I'm speced arcane fire and it does pretty well but I'd prefer being able to do more burst aoe and I thats when I thoght about fire. My idea would be more centered around a pom pyro spec, basically I see someone, suppose I have combustion on, cast pom > pyro > fire blast while running towards the guy > get to him and cast dragon's breath > flame strike > blast wave > flame strike > fire blast > (probably two crits in a row) pyro. Now this is pretty simple burst in the extreme, though you probably wouldn't have anymore mana for anything else after that, but usually I dont live very long anyways, cause if I would I'd probably be frost. Anyway feel free to help.

That said, you wouldn't want to use the bursty AoEs on individuals often, but having them for those all too often "Suddenly I find myself in a 4 on 4 battle on some objective flag" fights could be fun.

I did try a variation(a scorch spam hot streak build) for Children's Week, and it was kinda fun.
