i would occasionally get a windfury totem in bc but since wrath came out haven't had it available until this week. used to remove poison from MH if we had the totem...is that still the way it works? is it still a better buff than the poison. i'm running 51/13/7 right now.

You aren't stupid, you just don't pay attention to patch notes. A while back they changed Windfury Totem to a flat 16% haste for the entire group (untalented). With talents I think it gets up to 20% but I'm not sure on that. So to anwer you're question, do not remove the poison from your mainhand as you no longer have a chance for it to proc regardless of what is imbued on you mainhand weapon.

Being called "not stupid" by someone who doesn't know the difference between a contraction and a possessive pronoun is pretty much being called stupid.
Contraction would be "you're" and possessive pronoun would be "your" in this case, grammartard.
