Lately I've been watching my pet's focus and it bottoms out more than I'd like to see.
I have over a 50% crit rate raid buffed and I wouldn't think my wolf would have any trouble keeping focus but it does.
I swapped one point in hunting party to GftT to max it out in the spreadsheet and gained around 50 dps.
Has anyone else noticed this or had any similar experiance?

Without GftT, crit has zero effect on pet focus, so all builds should include either GftT or Bestial Discipline if possible.
I believe he meant that he was running with 1/2 GftT, but upon plugging in 2/2 in the spreadsheet it showed an increase in DPS.
I did the same, and while it wasn't as drastic of an increase (only 20), it does show. What I'm wondering is if the spreadsheet takes into account the pet GCD.

It does, currently (until 3.1.2) Explosive shot crits do not trigger GftT, which in turn causes a lack of focus for our pets.
Well that explains it.
